Fact Sheets

EH Energy Stack

The EH Energy Stack is the foundation of the EH Energy Platform. Its patented microstructure delivers high power density in a compact format. This fact sheet compares the three stack families, from the compact EH-51 to the high-power EH-87, which delivers up to 357 kW from a single stack. It sets out the key specifications for each configuration, the operating conditions for the cathode, anode and coolant lines, and an example performance curve to support integration planning.

‍

EH Energy System

The EH Energy System is a standardized 250 kW fuel cell module and the core building block of the EH Energy Platform. It integrates the stack, power electronics, thermal management and controls in a single IP44-rated unit with a peak efficiency of 57%. This fact sheet details the full electrical and mechanical specifications.

EH Power Block

The EH Power Block combines twelve 250 kW EH Energy Systems in a single 40-ft container to deliver 3 MW of clean, dispatchable power. As a turnkey solution, it includes DC/DC conversion, thermal management, air handling and controls, with a central walkway giving technicians access to all main components. The Power Block runs on pressurised hydrogen or on natural gas through an integrated reformer, with heat recovery available as an option. Multiple Power Blocks combine into multi-MW installations with N+1 redundancy.

‍

EH Power Plant

EH Power Plants scale the 3 MW EH Power Block into complete power plants for data centers, microgrids and industrial sites. This fact sheet introduces two plant families. EH Modular Power Plants are turnkey solutions for smaller data center and industrial needs, with integrated steam methane reforming for operation on natural gas. EH Bespoke Power Plants are engineered for large customers, up to gigawatt scale, and delivered with your EPC or EH Energy’s preferred partners. The fact sheet also covers a reference modular configuration, redundancy options and fuel flexibility.

‍

Combined Heat, Power and Water Recovery

Every EH Energy fuel cell produces three outputs: electricity, clean heat and pure water. Because heat exchangers and a water separator are built into every system, both can be recovered through a simple connection, without redesigning the system. Heat recovery raises combined heat-and-power efficiency to up to ~85%, and the recovered water is of deionized quality. This fact sheet explains how recovery works and where the heat and water can be used, from buildings and data centers to marine and industrial applications.

‍

Carbon Capture

Where green hydrogen isn't yet available, EH Energy offers a low-carbon pathway that works today. This fact sheet explains how on-site steam methane reforming turns pipeline gas into hydrogen pure enough for PEM fuel cells. EH Energy fuel cells then generate power at over 50% electrical efficiency. A carbon capture unit recovers around 6 metric tons per hour of liquid CO₂ per reformer train, which can go to permanent geological storage or industrial reuse. The result is firm, blue-hydrogen power with a straightforward upgrade path to green hydrogen as supply grows.
