We’ve reinvented fuel cell power from the microstructure to the power plant.
Most fuel cells are assembled layer by layer - stamped, laser-welded and sealed in a slow, costly process that has held the industry back. EH Energy redesigned the stack at the microstructure level, producing a radically simpler architecture and a proprietary automated manufacturing process that fully assembles fuel cells in one continuous process.
The result is a fuel cell that is denser, cheaper to build and simpler to run, delivered by a production method designed to produce multiple gigawatts of capacity per line. This is the foundation that our systems, power blocks and power plants are built on.
Built for Communities
Our clean, quiet, behind-the-meter and water-neutral solutions are built for communities and permitting approval. Our fuel cells generate electricity through an electrochemical reaction - not combustion - so there are no NOₓ, SOₓ or particulates at the point of use - and our integrated steam methane reforming generates lower emissions than combustion incumbents.
