Fuel Cells for Hydrogen-Electric Flight

When a leading global commercial aircraft manufacturer set out to prove hydrogen fuel cell propulsion, it chose EH Energy as its stack development partner. This case study covers three parallel workstreams. The first is independent benchmarking of short stacks across the full flight mission profile. The second is development of air-cooled HT-PEM stacks, a technology with little commercial precedent. The third is a next-generation, high-power-density stack designed for commercial aircraft propulsion. Find out why patented cell technology and aviation-specific testing made EH Energy the partner of choice.

Fuel Cells for Zero-Emission Regional Flight

EH Energy is the fuel cell partner behind a leading aerospace integrator's liquid-hydrogen powertrain for retrofitted regional aircraft. The program is part of a government-backed national aviation initiative. This case study explains how EH Energy designs, develops and supplies the LT-PEM fuel cell systems at the core of the powertrain, along with the documentation needed for certification. The multi-year collaboration is working toward a first flight in 2028. It shows how class-leading power density and a simple system design meet the demands of megawatt-class flight.

Fuel Cells for Modular Hydrogen Power

Since 2020, a leading international clean-energy integrator has built its modular hydrogen power products on EH Energy fuel cells. The partnership started with stack supply and grew into a 220 kW containerized power system for EV fast-charging, ship-to-shore power and resilient backup. Deliveries of compact EH-51 stacks and EH Energy Systems have continued since, and a multi-year roadmap now scales toward megawatt-class solutions. This case study explains why one compatible technology family, from about 5 kW to 250 kW and beyond, became this integrator's platform of choice.
