A production process, not just a product
Our proprietary, continuous manufacturing method shifts the fuel cell cost curve and scales to multiple gigawatts
Fuel cell stack manufacturing

EH Energy’s core breakthrough is that our stacks are designed for manufacturing (DfM). Conventional fuel cells are assembled layer by layer - stamping, laser-welding and dispensing sealant - a slow, costly process that has held the whole industry back. EH Energy instead assembles its stacks in one continuous, highly automated process, eliminating those steps entirely.
Our proprietary automated manufacturing technology is designed for a step-change reduction in cost and enormous volume: multiple GWs of annual capacity from a single line, with new lines quickly addable to serve new customers and regions.
Proprietary continuous production
Completely automated production with no stamping, welding or conventional pick & place methodology
Scalable
New lines quickly addable allowing us to match new customer demand dynamically.
Near-GW scale
Annual capacity per line that shifts the cost and scale curve of fuel cells.
AI-led quality control
Embedded quality control, driven by integrated AI and software.

Our team works with a network of global partners for our key components and to integrate our fuel cell stacks into our EH Energy Systems, EH Power Blocks and EH Power Plants. We marry our proprietary technology with off-the-shelf components to reduce risk and focus on our core IP. Our partner network removes single-point-of-failure risks and gives us leverage to scale quickly and meet the needs of each customer and site.
