Greg Powers

Powers is SVP Power Plant and Fuel at EH Energy, where he leads the company's strategies across gas, hydrogen and alternative fuels, as well as power plant design and integration. Powers is responsible for designing, scaling and executing EH Energy’s steam methane reforming module and the EH Power Plants, leveraging decades of experience across technology, hydrogen and reforming.

Powers brings more than 40 years experience across energy and technology leadership roles. He most recently served as Chief Innovation Officer at BayoTech, an energy solutions company that developed modular, on-site hydrogen production and distribution systems.  Powers previously served as VP, Global Innovation and VP, Global Technology at Halliburton, and held senior technology leadership roles at biofuels company Verenium, HVAC company Carrier Corporation and GE Water.

Throughout his career, Powers has developed deep experience in manufacturing, energy and services industries, while leading numerous technology implementations from lab-to-market across hydrogen production, water, oil and gas services, enzymes and biofuels, HVAC and speciality chemicals and more, while supporting scaling businesses with multi-site global locations.

Powers holds a B.A., MS and PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania.
