Amer Kalla
Vice President of Manufacturing, Quality & Supply Chain
Kalla serves as Vice President of Manufacturing, Quality & Supply Chain at EH Energy, bringing deep expertise in hyper-scaling advanced production systems, executing high-speed roll-to-roll automated manufacturing lines, and building resilient end-to-end supply chains across heavy industries.
Prior to joining EH Energy, Kalla built a track record of scaling capital-intensive operations across both cutting-edge clean energy platforms and heavy marine infrastructure. As Senior Engineering Program Manager at Tesla, he led critical facility engineering and manufacturing build-outs within heavy industrial environments - notably directing the roll-to-roll equipment integration and high-speed web handling lines for Tesla’s 4680 cell manufacturing. His work focused on high-density factory layouts, and rapid ramp-up schedules from pilot testing to gigawatt-hour scale.
Kalla expanded his operations leadership as Director of Production Design at TAI Engineers, overseeing global engineering teams across the U.S. and internationally. His background includes leading detail design, 3D digital manufacturing pipelines, and strict quality assurance frameworks at Vancouver Shipyards for major Canadian Navy and Coast Guard fleet programs.
At EH Energy, Amer unifies high-rate manufacturing design, supply chain governance, and total quality management to build scalable, zero-defect production systems. He holds a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) from Simon Fraser University in British Columbia, Canada, and is a certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt.
